EDUCATIIONAL QUALIFICATION
i) have possessed M.B.B.S. or equivalent Degree from a Medical College or Medical Institution recognised by the Medical Council of India.
ii) have possessed a valid Registration Certificate under the Odisha Medical Registration Act, 1961 (O.A. 18 of 1961): Provided that, if a candidate outside the State of Odisha has not registered his name under the Odisha Council of Medical Registration established under Section 3 of the Odisha Medical Registration Act, 1961, he shall get himself registered as per the provisions of the said Act before issue of the appointment order.
iii) have possessed the required Conversion Certificates recognised by Medical Council of India (MCI) in case of candidate having Degrees from Universities of Foreign Countries.
Plan of Examination
(a) Total Marks in written Test shall be 200;
(b) Total No. of questions in Written Test is 200 which shall be of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) Pattern;
(c) No Negative marking for wrong answers.
(d) The duration of examination shall be 3 hours;
(e) The qualifying marks will be decided by the OPSC while recommending the required number of doctors as per Health and Family Welfare Department Letter No. 17445/H, dt. 21.07.2023.
(f) The Syllabus shall be as per MCI Syllabus for MBBS Course;
(g) Distribution of Marks – The following distribution of marks in various disciplines are outlined below:-
